This is what should have arisen again as a monument to the slain.

Personally, I hate the current memorial. While I get the symbolism, leaving two holes in the ground is an insult. It feels like handing the slime who did this a trophy to hang on their cave wall. After all, they didn't leave a notch in the Pentagon, did they? Hell no.

Sigh.

RIP, Donna Hegelmeyer. I've really got to hand it to the new writing team of Doctor Who this time. The idea of Silurian swordswoman solving crimes in Victorian London is terribly fascinating. I'd much rather see 8-10 episodes of that than another "Oh Fuck The World Is Ending" Torchwood series.

Also, all the best lines in "A Good Man Goes to War" belong to the Sontaran.

Happy Friday, people.

I'd always loved the tall, graceful designs of Five Star Stories. Unfortunately, the Mortar Hedds, as they were known, were only in garage kit form for the longest time, and prohibitively expensive (as in, they stood around 3 feet high and cost over $700). So, when I found this mini in a hobby store, around 1993-94, I scooped him up immediately. This mystery bug showed up in a post on Heresy Online.  BoLS picked up the rumor and is running with it, and it makes me wonder if the Necrons are FINALLY getting some attention from FW. For that matter, it makes me wonder if FW are fans of the Tyracrons. Maybe I should've gone to Games Day in Baltimore, even if the army was only half-finished?
